Job
Summary:
The
Learning Coach is responsible for providing support to training sessions with
entry to managerial level participant audiences. They prepare mid-level to executive level
line faculty members to conduct training sessions and build the trainers
knowledge of course objectives and content modules. Their role is to manage the learning
environment to ensure a successful and consistent conduct of the training
session. They assist the team of trainers otherwise known as ‘Faculty” and
participants to facilitate the learning process during the training
session. The Learning Coach identifies training
session design and coaching process enhancements and communicates them to the
appropriate group. The Learning Coach
will define standards and reusable approaches within own area of
responsibility. They assist in the
design and development of Faculty preparation and coaching materials with the
development team. They manage effective internal/external client relationships
within own area of responsibility, and build client relationships in the wider
group or unit. They provide guidance to and share knowledge with
colleagues/team members relating to own specialization.
Key
Responsibilities:

Support
training sessions with entry to managerial-level participant audiences

Prepare

Build
coaching, presentation, and facilitation skills of the trainers

Manage
the learning environment and the Faculty for the school session

model desired work and interpersonal behavior

Prepare
trainers to address teaming issues in the training session

Identify
training session design and coaching process enhancements

Contribute to special projects as assigned
·
Participate
in improvement initiatives

Act
as a resource to other delivery functions

Teach
specialized content in selected training sessions
·
Teach
coaching and presentation of content

Conduct
training sessions virtually

Facilitate
(teach) interpersonal effectiveness training
·
Define
standards and reusable approaches with benefit for cross-functional groups

Provide

For Live Classroom sessions:

Faculty to conduct courses during a faculty preparation weekend focusing on
course objectives, course module content, activity facilitation and presentation
skills.

Facilitating
the learning process and managing the learning environment during the course
sessions, providing specific feedback to increase coaching, teaching and
facilitation skills of faculty

Provide
Continuous Improvement ideas to design groups
For
Virtual Classroom sessions:

Preparing
faculty during a faculty preparation session to understand the course
objectives and course module content, when needed.
·
Preparing
the faculty to present and facilitate in a virtual environment and activity facilitation.
