To carry out day-to-day front office operation performance at Reception
Duties and Responsibilities:
• To ensure that the front desk counter is never left unattended.
• To answer all telephone calls with the standard greetings within three rings.
• To ensure all guests are welcomed and are attended to immediately without further delays.
• To ensure all messages are keyed-in correctly and accurately immediately upon receipt of requests.
• To modify in full all Registration Cards after a check-in process is completed.
• To ensure departure messages are sent to rooms every morning before the check-out time.
• To compile and merge guests' history on a daily basis.
• To sort out all soft copies of Registration Cards after check-out.
• To ensure all follow-ups are done during duty shift.
• To accomplish individual filing at the end of duty shift.
• To issue and close the guests' safe deposit boxes.
• To maintain and liaise closely with all other departments on the guests' requirements.
• To maintain and to up-keep the cleanliness of the work areas and to ensure that they are free from stains, litters and mess.
• To perform all other work as and when required.
REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: -
• Candidate must at least possess SPM or Certificate/ Training in Hospitality industry.
• At least 1 years of working experience in the related field.
REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE: -
• Good communication and service skills.
• Courteous, service oriented with pleasant personality.
REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP (if any): -
• N/A
REQUIRED LANGUAGES: -
• English
• Bahasa Malaysia
